
New England Preservation Collaborative, Inc. is a historic preservation consulting and traditional trades company with offices in Montpelier and Burlington, Vermont, and Bristol, Rhode Island. Our principals satisfy the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards and have a broad range of skills encompassing more than thirty-five years of combined experience in preservation, traditional building trades, architectural history, archival research, and architectural photography. This collaboration between tradespeople, photographers, and architectural historians allows us to offer comprehensive cultural resource management solutions, from the stabilization and rehabilitation of buildings to photographic documentation, National Register nominations and tax credit applications.
Neil Dixon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and worked as a field archaeologist until starting his own photographic company in 2004. Thatcher Brook Printing and Photographic is a company whose focus is on archival photographic processing, for both traditional and digital media. The company blends traditional photographic process with new digital technology to create innovative solutions for the preservation and conservation of historical photographic materials.
James Duggan is a historic preservation consultant and contractor with 20 years experience in the building trades and specializes in the care and repair of landmark buildings. He has consulted on projects for the National Park Service at Las Flores National Historic Landmark (Camp Pendleton, CA) and Fort Davis National Historic Site (Fort Davis, TX). Other projects include the Farm Barn Masonry Walls at Shelburne Farms, VT; Immanuel Episcopal Church, Bellows Falls, VT; The Community Historical Museum of the Town of Mt. Holly, VT; and St. Paul's Unitarian Universalist Church, Rutland, VT. Jamie holds a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont.
Jeff Fellinger is a restoration carpenter with a myriad of historic project experience, spanning more than a decade. He presently specializes in window, door, and period millwork repair. Jeff has worked on National Park Service projects in California and Utah, and on many historic homes in the northern half of Vermont. He holds a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont.
Liisa Reimann specializes in National Register research & documentation, tax credit certification, regulatory compliance and preservation planning. Her first book, Burlington Firefighting, was published in 2006. She has taken part in projects at Las Flores Adobe National Historic Landmark and the Santa Margarita Ranch House (Camp Pendleton, CA) and Fort Davis National Historic Site (Fort Davis, TX). Liisa holds a Master's Degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont.
Sarah Vukovich holds a MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont and an MS in Architectural Conservation from the University of Pennsylvania. There, she focused her thesis on the historic wallpapers of Strawberry Hill, England and was the 2007 recipient of the Charles Peterson Fellowship, which recognizes great promise in preservation technology. Sarah specializes in finishes analyses, baseline documentation and architectural history.
